Credit crunch hits women hardest

.

In previous recessions men bore the brunt of job losses but this time it will be different. With more women working in the hardest hit areas - retail and services - it is they who will suffer most, jeopardising their hard earned financial independence and equality at work. The Skin is the LARGEST Organ in our body and along with the kidneys, colon, liver and lungs plays a major role in eliminating toxins.

Dry skin brushing is one of the best ways to increase your skin’s eliminative role - plus the outward results are a clearer more healthy looking skin!

When you dry skin brush, you not only remove dead skin layers, but also:

• Stimulate your circulation and increase cell renewal and cellular exchange.
• Help to remove toxic material by invigorating and cleansing the lymphatic system

And by supporting the two points above you strengthen your immune system

• You improve skin elasticity and thereby tighten the skin and over time shift cellulite.
• You also stimulate the Glands, which helps all of the body systems perform better.

Can you believe it, all these benefits from simply brushing your skin every day before you bathe? You wouldn’t miss brushing your teeth or your hair before leaving the house each morning. I would like to encourage you to add skin brushing to that list!

Skin Brushing is simple!

Buy a long handled NATURAL bristle brush (Do Not buy synthetic). The handle helps you to get at areas of your body that are more difficult to reach, such as your back.

Aim to dry skin brush ONCE a day and a complete skin brushing should take about 4 -5 minutes.

Try to cover the WHOLE body (except the face) when brushing. Do LIGHTER Strokes over and around sensitive areas such as your breasts. If you have a sensitive skin condition again just avoid those areas. Since the skin is a complete organ, by brushing most of it, the WHOLE of the skin benefits.

Using long even strokes as vigorous as is comfortable, start by brushing the soles of your feet FIRST, because the nerve endings there affect your whole body, next Brush your ankles, calves, and thighs, then brush across your stomach and your buttocks. Brush down the neck and upper body and up the arms, legs, buttocks and abdomen. Don’t miss your back – that’s where the long handle comes in helping you to reach the whole of your back.

The direction of brushing should always be towards the heart area. It is sufficient to brush just once over each part of your body.

Finally enjoy your bath or shower.

Remember do NOT wet your skin or the brush before skin brushing as it will not have the same exfoliating and eliminative effect.

Just see how wonderful your skin feels after only a few days of skin brushing.

Note: Wash your brush every few weeks in water and allow it dry completely before using again. Do not use your skin brush for anything else.

Natural bristle brushes can be bought in health food shops or mail order from:
